6か月目以降：母乳育児の長期的なメリット

世界保健機関が最大2年以上の赤ちゃんへの授乳を推奨していることをご存知でしたか？母乳育児の延長することで、赤ちゃんの成長と脳の発達をサポートし、感染症にかかる可能性を下げ、生涯を通じて1型糖尿病と肥満になりにくくなります。また、そのメリットはすべてが赤ちゃんのためだけではありません。母乳を出す期間が長いほど、お母さまが乳がん、子宮がん、卵巣がん、高血圧、心臓疾患および脳卒中になる確率が減少します。6か月目以降の母乳の驚くべきメリットについて、またなぜ母乳育児の継続を検討したほうがよいのか、その理由をご説明します。
